As well as individuals, ever larger groups of walkers have been walking our local paths for some months, as Covid restrictions gradually eased. Now that all final restrictions on mobility outdoors have been lifted, we hope everyone will feel comfortable about rediscovering the delights of the Golden Triangle.

We would, however, advise all walkers to keep an eye on government advice in case restrictions are imposed again over this coming winter.

Recent months have seen national recognition of our local beauty and heritage through both BBC1’s Countryfile programme on Easter Sunday and the Guardian’s Joy of Walking supplement on June 12th.

Of course, with less usage over the last year than usual, some sections of paths have been more neglected than we would like. We are trying to rectify this as we can and would welcome the help of any volunteers to cut back overgrowing brambles, clear litter and report back on any problems with signage, difficulties with stiles etc.   Please use our Contact page for this.
