WINDCROSS PATHS LATEST UPDATE

MAY 2022

As all Covid restrictions on mobility outdoors have been lifted,  we hope everyone will now feel comfortable about rediscovering the delights of the Golden Triangle.

In 2021 we saw national recognition of our local beauty and heritage through both BBC1’s Countryfile programme on Easter Sunday and the Guardian’s Joy of Walking supplement on June 12th.

This year we enjoyed two weekends of beautiful weather and walks in March for the Kempley and Dymock Daffodil weekends and an article on our local walks will appear in May’s edition of Country Life.

Of course, with less usage over the last year than usual, some sections of paths have been more neglected than we would like. We are trying to rectify this as we can and would welcome the help of any volunteers to cut back overgrowing brambles, clear litter and report back on any problems with signage, difficulties with stiles etc.   Please use our Contact page for this.
